Customised Work – Coaches and Cars 

Carpet Binders often complete customised carpet edging assignments where the carpet has many angles or curves that must be hemmed for a snug, tight fit.

This work comes from touring coaches, boats, and yachts. Including cars such as customised hot rods, and classic restorations. And people who want to protect the interior carpets of their existing modern cars.

The process is complex and time-consuming, and it requires in-depth knowledge of carpet edging. By doing this, we are capable of meeting the high standard required by many of our clients.

There are two ways we can work with you:

• You provide us with the pre-cut carpet pieces to be edged.
• An existing template with your new carpet pieces, and you leave us to complete the cutting for an additional nominal fee.

There may also be a time charge because hemming the carpet pieces takes longer. By the number of corners and angles edged, this is how we determine the total cost of time charge.
